Children & Babies: Children are most vulnerable to the dangers of microwave wireless radiation. Their brains and bones are not fully formed, are softer, and therefore they absorb more radiation than an adult. If you must use WiFi, keep router at a good distance from you and your family and turn it off when not using. Always turn it off at night time. Many televisions and tv boxes now include wifi or wireless facilities and many new household appliances are fitted with wireless transmitters. Go through settings to disable wifi options.
Many schools use wifi and are putting children at risk by exposing them to high strength microwave radiation. Ask your children’s school to switch to wired internet, and to ensure that tablets are used in airplane mode.
Mobile/Smart Phones: Keep your distance from your mobile phone. Text rather than talk. For healthier sleep, keep phones and wireless devices out of the bedroom. Smart phones can have up to 5 antennae (and not all can be turned off).
Practice Safe Tech: Use a corded landline. Cordless (DECT) phones are emitting radiation all the time, even when not being used for calls.
Limit use of smart and wireless devices. If you watch movies and programmes on your device, download and then turn on airplane mode to watch – this ensures less radiation exposure.
Wifi Enabled/Wireless Devices: Other devices emitting wireless radiation include: tablets, laptops, smart televisions, smart watches, fitbits, wireless headphones, smart home heating or lighting remote systems (eg Hive, Nest), smart lights, virtual assistants, virtual reality headsets, and toys that use wifi or are linked to smart phones. Safe Travel: Limit your use of wireless devices. eg mobiles, bluetooth, tablets, etc inside metal enclosures, like cars, buses and trains.
